The children of Teresa Orsini Dormitory (girls school) East Timor need your help.

An unreliable power supply impacts their education, food storage and safety. We can change that!

We are a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC). All donations over $2 are fully tax deductible as a Deductible Gift Recipient by the Australian Tax Office.

Help Power Up communities in need:

Our Purpose

The MEA Power Up charity has been established to facilitate fundraising and provide logistical support to the electrical contractors who give up their time, volunteering to help re-energise or establish a new power supply in an under-privileged community.

The charity is focussed on the big picture, not only providing resource effort and equipment to power up communities but also, where appropriate the necessary training to help maintain the systems.

Founding Members

The founding members of the MEA Power Up charity are well versed in these types of projects.

Each member is passionate about the electrical industry and sharing their skills to assist under-privileged communities access a stable power supply.  It’s a sad fact that some communities, through no fault of their own, don’t have access to power.

We want to change that, one project at a time.
